Now and then I come across something that’s too good not to share with you. I want to tell you iphone users about a great new app called Simply Zen. Simply Zen is an elegant, content rich mindfulness app that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It is for people who want to develop and grow a mindfulness habit without having subscription fees. You pay a small fee once, and all the features and upgrades are yours for life. AND here’s the really good news—it will be free until the until the end of this week. You can download it now for free and all updates and features will always be free, there will never be ads, and there will never be in-app purchases. And be sure to leave a review with iPhone apps.  Again, the name is Simply Zen.

Some of the features are as follows:

  • Guided meditation courses
  • Guided meditations for your moods
  • Open ended meditations with bells to keep you present, or without any sound at all
  • Connected to HealthKit
  • Daily quotes at the end of your session that you can tweet out (note: logging into Twitter is not required to use the app, you only need to login to Twitter if you want to tweet out the quotes)

Some features for future releases

 

  • 3D Touch support for iOS version
  • Images that are shown along with the quote
  • An in app history of sessions within the last three months (note: all your sessions will be tracked by HealthKit, as long as you enable HealthKit during setup)
